Creating a new social media account for your program, unit, or department is generally not recommended. If you believe a new account is necessary, first connect with your unit communicator to understand the current landscape, then submit a request through the social media support form.
The UAB social media team will follow up to schedule a consultation and review your request. Per our current guidelines, all official UAB social media accounts must be reviewed and approved by MarComm prior to creation.
