Fat Biopsy Samples

The UAB Immunology Institute Healthy Donor Cohort has partnered with the UAB Center for Exercise Medicine (UCEM) to facilitate the process of getting fat biopsy samples from healthy donors. The UAB healthy donor cohort consists of more than 1000 healthy adult volunteers and can be utilized by IRB-approved UAB investigators to advertise their studies to our cohort. Interested participants will personally express their intent to join your study. The UAB Immunology Institute and UCEM will aid in the logistics, scheduling and sample collection
