Why I Chose UAB:

I chose the research fellowship at UAB because of the program's commitment to holistic professional development. I hope to further pursue research in my professional career, and UAB has enabled me to refine my skills throughout all phases of the study process. The program also offers fellows the opportunity to participate in educational activities such as didactic lectures, journal clubs, and subspecialty conferences. Furthermore, I was impressed by the strong mentorship that fellows develop with the UAB faculty members. Having attended college nearby at the University of Alabama, I was familiar with the respect and prestige that UAB holds within the medical community, and I am truly honored to be selected for the orthopaedic research fellowship.
