The UAB Department of Surgery Global Surgery Program offers academic opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
· Integrated topics each block on Wednesday didactics for general surgery residents

Our Global Surgery Program offers trainees unique opportunities to engage in surgical education guided by multidisciplinary medical practitioners and clinicians at UAB and partnerships with local and global resources.
