Biography

Muhammad Rabbani, M.D., attended Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, where he received his bachelor’s degrees in medicine and surgery in 2014. After graduation, he attended Brown University as a PGY1 general surgery resident, George Washington University as a PGY2 general surgery resident, and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio as a general surgery resident PGY3-PGY5. After completing his residency in 2020, Rabbani spent two years as an abdominal transplant and hepatobiliary surgery fellow at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rabbani is also a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgery, Rhode Island Medical Society, and the American College of Surgeons. Rabbani joins the UAB Division of Transplantation as an instructor.
