Biography
Dr. Taylor Wallen joined the faculty of the UAB Department of Surgery in 2026. She attended medical school at the Central Michigan University College of Medicine. She then completed her surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati before coming to UAB for her fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care.
Her research interests include shock, resuscitation, wound healing, and blood transfusion. She is a member of the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma
