The Dr. Mildred Hamner Nightingale Letters Project Endowed Support Fund, funded by Mildred Hamner, an alumna and former faculty member, supports educational and clinical activities that focus on caring for elderly populations, reflecting on Dr. Hamner’s passion for serving vulnerable elderly populations as well as her love for teaching and inspiring nursing students to make life better for their patients.
