Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program

The MSN Program at UAB, ranked 18th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, offers three distinct pathways, one for nurse practitioners, one for health systems leaders, and an accelerated master’s in nursing pathway for entry into professional nursing practice for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field.

Each pathway provides career-minded students the opportunity to learn from some of the nation's leading nursing and interprofessional faculty in the state's only Academic Health Science Center, giving them the foundation they need to be leaders across nursing and health care, making a difference in the lives of the patients and families they serve.
