Two alumni honored by UAB NAS

Bryant, Cole recognized in UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 Class of 2017

Bryant, the Assistant Chief Executive Officer at Grandview Medical Center, earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the School in 2008. Cole, Grandview’s Chief Nursing Officer, earned her BSN in 1982 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 1987.

The two were among 34 alumni honored by the National Alumni Society as part of its annual program which identifies, recognizes and celebrates the success of the Top 25 UAB alumni-owned or alumni-operated businesses.

The UAB School of Nursing is ranked 13th in overall graduate programs, among the top five public schools of nursing in the country by U.S. News and World Report, and offers innovative bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, including the state’s only PhD in Nursing degree and a DNP degree offering BSN, MSN and Nurse Anesthesia Pathways; more than 10 specialty nurse practitioner tracks, advanced nursing executive majors in administration and informatics, and an Accelerated Master's in Nursing Pathway (AMNP) for students who already have one degree.
