UAB's Faculty Fellows in Engaged Scholarship program is open to all faculty involved in undergraduate teaching, with priority given to courses taught by faculty who are new or marginally experienced with service-learning. A man wearing an odd-looking backpack walked around campus Wednesday to capture panoramic street-level views for Google Maps. Google is working with the Office of Public Relations and Marketing to create a campus view for UAB similar to the ones it hosts for Stanford, Cornell, Dartmouth and other notable universities throughout the world.
