President Carol Garrison will highlight the university's progress during the past year and discuss prospects and challenges that lie ahead during the annual State of the University Address, hosted by the UAB Faculty Senate.

The address is set for 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 in Margaret Cameron Spain Auditorium.
