Alumni Association of the Graduate Programs in Health Administration (GPHA)

The Alumni Association of the Graduate Programs in Health Administration (GPHA) at UAB is open to graduates of our Master of Science in Health Administration (Residential and Executive, and International Track), Master of Science in Health Informatics, Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety, as well as alumni of our doctoral programs - both PhD and DSc. This group exists to create a cohesive global body of our alumni.



The purposes of the Association are to create a cohesive national body of the alumni of the Graduate Programs in Health Administration of the University of Alabama at Birmingham (hereinafter referred to as the Graduate Programs); to promote, assist and enhance the Programs; to encourage professional growth of the membership of the Association; to advance the interests and knowledge of health administration; to promote cooperation, understanding and fellowship among the alumni and students of the Programs: and to engage in such other related activities as may to desirable or required to fulfill the purposed and objectives of the Association.



To support lifelong relationships with all graduate program alumni that provide their time, loyalty, and intellectual and financial resources in support of the University’s pursuit of excellence in teaching, research and public service. 



GPHA serves as a vital partner in the success of UAB through the significant engagement of graduate program alumni.
