UAB Career Center, in partnership with Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. is pleased to present the UAB Career Closet, located in the Hill Student Center, Suite 307. The Career Closet houses a variety clothing that students can use for interviews, career fairs, and other business and job-related purposes.
UAB students who need professional attire for professional interviews or events may borrow items such as button-down shirts, blouses, blazers, pants, skirts, ties, and suits, from the UAB Career Closet for free.
New Career Closet Experience in the UAB Career Center
The UAB Career Center is revamping the Career Closet process to make it a more valuable resource for your professional journey. We are implementing a new appointment-based system to ensure you receive the personalized support you deserve. By changing to an appointment-based system, we can provide you with dedicated, one-on-one attention. Students must make an appointment to use the Career Closet.
Same-day Appointments or Walk-Ins are Not Available
We are not able to accommodate same-day or walk-in appointments at this time. We believe making this adjustment, will better serve your needs and help you on your path to career success.
Schedule Your Visit
- Sign in to Handshake using your UAB username and password.
- Select "Career Closet" as your appointment type.
- Select a time that works best for you in the future. Same-day and walk-in appointments are not available.

Monday- Friday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
