The UAB Career Closet, located in the Hill Student Center (Suite 307), provides professional clothing students can select and keep at no cost for interviews, career fairs, presentations, and other career-related events. Our inventory includes a wide variety of items such as button-down shirts, blouses, blazers, pants, skirts, ties, suits, and professional shoes to help students present themselves with confidence.
- Students may select professional attire at no cost and keep the items.
- Clothing is available during scheduled appointments or walk-ins.
To browse and select items, schedule an appointment through Handshake. Walk-in appointments are also welcome.

Needed Items & Donation Information
We gladly accept clean and freshly laundered, gently used professional attire, including:
- Business suits
- Dress shirts and blouses
- Professional slacks and skirts
- Ties / Belts
- Professional shoes (preferably new or gently worn)
Clothing donations may be dropped off at the UAB Career Center, located in the Hill Student Center, 1400 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233.
Donations are accepted from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM on the first Friday of every month.
