UAB Student Housing and Residence Life is a rich, vibrant, and diverse community where residents learn and attain the experience necessary for independence while developing the skills needed to make positive societal contributions. As the team of professionals responsible for the wellbeing and safety of our 3,000+ residents, we treat all students with dignity, respect, and self-worth. Agreement with process and outcomes is not the end goal. Ensuring that each student is treated with appropriate care and concern while maintaining a community of civility and respect for one another is our primary objective. We believe in the potential of each student to make a positive impact on their community and support our students without bias, exclusion, or discrimination. We challenge our community of scholars to do the same.
