Reason for joining SYE Leadership: I want to become more involved in the UAB community to help make UAB a place where students feel heard and are given all the resources they need to succeed in whatever path they are choosing to follow. The student community is continually growing and changing, so we should enforce changes at UAB to reflect that.

The "sophomore slump" is seen greatly affecting individuals at institutions across the globe and SYE Street Team provides me an avenue to directly fix the problem!

I want to get involved throughout my second year of college and becoming a member of SYE will help to continue what I experienced last year, as well as branch on more and enhance my college experience!

I had been hoping that there would be a position that would allow me to continue being a leader my second year. SYE is an amazing opportunity to improve the Sophomore experience here at UAB and surround myself with other leaders.
