About the Program
Are you motivated by the goals of promoting wellness and preventing disease? Are you interested in launching a career in health and wellness? If so, then the Undergraduate Certificate in Health Coaching is designed for you. Offered by the Department of Human Studies within the School of Education and Human Sciences, this program prepares you for meaningful roles in healthcare settings, corporate wellness programs, community organizations, and more.
The certificate, delivered in a hybrid format, is anchored in science, focuses on strategy, and prioritizes human connection. The 15-hour curriculum integrates personal and community health, nutrition, epidemiology, stress management, physical fitness, and health behavior theory. Students can customize their coursework to align with their unique career interests and professional aspirations.

This program delivers most of its content via on-campus, in-person meetings.Blended
This program delivers at least half of the content online with the remaining content delivered via on- campus meetings. Please check with the program director for more information about on-campus requirements.
