About the Program

Every salesperson of the year has to start somewhere. At UAB, we can help you distinguish yourself as the kind of customer service-oriented professional that businesses turn to when building their sales teams.

How? First, we'll build your academic foundation. Your coursework will include Sales Management, Advanced Selling, and Principles of Professional Selling. Next, we'll bring sales professionals into the classroom that will allow you to make business contacts before graduation. Finally, we encourage internship and mentorship opportunities, so you can get real-world experience and build professional relationships. In the end, we'll want to have given you better communication skills and a stronger understanding of client relationships that will suit you well in any career, no matter what your major.
