Admission InformationTo qualify for this program a student should:
- Be completing at least 4 semesters of college coursework
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have ACT or MCAT scores above 20 (or SAT scores higher than 1200)
- Be an Alabama resident
ApplicationUPDATE: The 2017 application period will open in November 2016. Please check with your pre-medical advisor for application materials. You may use the on-line application process or submit a paper application.
Important DatesMarch 2017: Applicants selected for interviews will be notified.
March - April 2017: Applicant interviews conducted via videoconference.
April 2017: Notification of students accepted for HRPI.
May 30, 2017*: Arrive in Huntsville - set up housing in dormitory
July 21, 2017*: Final Day
*This is an 8-week program; it is possible the dates may be shifted a week to June 5 - July 28, 2017.
