Admission InformationTo qualify for this program a student should:
- Be completing at least 4 semesters of college coursework
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have ACT or MCAT scores above 20 (or SAT scores higher than 1200)
- Be an Alabama resident
ApplicationUPDATE: The 2016 Application period is complete. Applicants selected for a videoconference interview will be notified in early March.
The 2017 application period will open in November 2016.
Important DatesMarch 2016: Applicants selected for interviews will be notified.
March - April 2016: Applicant interviews conducted via videoconference.
April 2016: Notification of students accepted for HRPI.
May 31, 2016: Arrive in Huntsville - set up housing in dormitory
June 6, 2016: Begin Internship
July 29, 2016: Final Day
