Dustin Johnston, art director with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Creative and Marketing Group, won the silver medal in the Neenah Paper’s recent Paperworks Text and Cover Design Contest.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Dustin Johnston, art director with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Creative and Marketing Group, won the silver medal in the Neenah Paper’s recent Paperworks Text and Cover Design Contest.

Johnston received the award for his design of the UAB Addiction Recovery Program brochure.

Johnston received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Samford University. He has been at UAB for two years. He is the son of Joe and Kate Johnston of Fairhope.

The Neenah Paperworks Contest was created more than 25 years ago to reward merchants, designers, and printers for recognizing the value of quality imagery in the print communications process. Neenah Paper is the leading manufacturer of premium fine writing, text and cover papers.
