It’s time to see who will punch their ticket to the Big Dance. UAB Basketball hosts the 2017 Conference USA Championships at Bartow Arena and Legacy Arena (downtown Birmingham) March 8-11, and students are invited to see the Blazers in action.

UPDATE:

The UAB Men’s Baskeball team defeated Charlotte in round one, so now they’re heading into the quarterfinals! UAB will face Louisiana Tech in round two Thursday, March 9 at 5:30pm.

Free shuttle rides will be provided for students from the Hill Student Center to Legacy Arena beginning at 4:00pm. UAB campus groups are provided up to 500 free student tickets to the game - all you need to do is take the shuttle and show up ready to cheer on the Blazers.

Thursday, March 9

• 4:00pm: Free student shuttle service from Hill Student Center to Legacy Arena
• 4:30pm: Student ticket distribution at Legacy Arena with music (50 lucky students will receive special courtside seats!)
• 5:30pm: UAB Men’s Basketball vs. Charlotte at Legacy Arena
