Education:

  • Ph.D., Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), Mathematics

Upon receiving my doctorate in Mathematics from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) in Belgium, I moved to Italy as a fellow of the Italian National Council for Research (CNR). I subsequently taught in Italy. I then moved to the USA as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Memphis (UM), TN, where I was promoted to Associate Professor. I then joined UAB as Associate Professor of Mathematics, and was subsequently promoted to Full Professor.
