Our predoctoral programming consists of didactic, preclinical, and clinical courses. Our preclinical course introduces procedures and hand skills required for the successful treatment of patients. The third- and fourth-year didactic courses focus on the philosophy and principles of endodontics, with special emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of pulpal and periapical disease. Use of modern technology is encouraged, as are indications and contraindications for treatment.

Our International Dental Program (IDP) prerequisite review course is designed to introduce the students to the basic aspects of endodontic principles, theory, and practice. Specialized clinic rotations provide the third- and fourth-year and IDP students with the opportunity to treat a vast number of patients who present with a wide range of endodontic problems. An elective course for fourth-year students allows hands-on application of principles taught in the preclinical course, as well as those advanced concepts from the preceding and current lecture courses.

All student procedures receive one-on-one supervision by professionally trained faculty endodontists.
