Held the first weekend in February, the University of Alabama School of Dentistry at UAB’s annual Alumni Weekend is one of the largest dental meetings in the state.
“Alumni Weekend is the highlight of the year for our organization,” says Scott Huffman, alumni association executive director “We hope all of our alumni can join us for a weekend of amazing continuing education opportunities and interaction with our approximately 60 vendors and sponsors.”
There are plenty of opportunities for fun with fellow classmates and alumni. Alumni from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s will be honored during a Medallion Luncheon and reunions are scheduled on Friday and Saturday evenings. Also on Saturday evening, the dental students entertain attendees with their Annual Variety Show, a special ticketed event.
