Jianli (Jimmy) Zhao, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he directs animal and digital organ disease models. His laboratory integrates large-scale biomedical data analysis with translational cardiovascular research, combining single-cell RNA sequencing, small RNA sequencing, and molecular docking with in vivo large- and small-animal models of human disease.
