The UAB Selma Family Medicine Residency offers six positions each year for our three-year program.

All our residency positions are filled through the National Resident Matching Program. Only electronic applications submitted through ERAS are considered.

Application Consideration Criteria

• Applicant must have passed Step 1 and Step 2 in two attempts. A minimum score is not required
• Applicant must have graduated from medical school within five years of application
• International applicants must have a valid ECFMG certificate
• U.S. clinical experience is expected

• Copy of Medical School diploma
• ECFMG certificate (for International Medical Graduates)
