Why I Chose UAB: I chose UAB for residency because I was fortunate enough to be a medical student here and got to see and work with the finished product in the fifth-year residents.

Along with the fantastic training here, the residents are all close friends and it is very apparent that they all have each other's back. My wife and I have called Birmingham home for a number of years and love it, making an easy decision even easier.

Medical Areas of Interests: For now, learning any and all things orthopedics is my greatest medical interest.

Interests/Hobbies: The pursuit of skiing bottomless powder, bass fishing, turkey hunting, traveling.
