4th Fridays Series

icon1Monthly focused faculty development  training, presented on the 4th Friday of every month, January - October, from noon - 1 PM. Meets in the Bradley Lecture Center, unless otherwise announced.

Faculty member contributions to activities in the areas of research, teaching, and service are evaluated for promotion and tenure. The goal of the Pediatrics OFD Leadership Development Program is to strengthen our cadre of teaching faculty and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative curricula designed to improve pediatric graduate medical education while integrating training in culturally competent and family-centered care.

UAB Faculty & Staff Learning System

icon1The UAB Faculty & Staff Learning System enables employees to register for classroom training, complete online courses, browse your training history, and more. The system offers a wide array of online training tools and resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For UAB Medicine employees, the system is previously known as HealthStream.
