Patricia J. Mook, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, CAVRN, FAONL received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from UAB in 2023. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, Nursing Operations, Education, and Professional Development at Advocate Health, overseeing strategic initiatives that drive system-wide improvements in patient care, nurse engagement, and professional development. She brings a future-focused lens to leadership, championing digital transformation and innovative care models such as virtual nursing to elevate care delivery and access.

As a Fellow of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (FAONL) and a contributing voice in shaping the Six Guiding Principles for Digital Transformation for Nurse Executives, she strives to ensure nurse leaders are equipped to lead in a digitally enabled healthcare environment. Additionally, she serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, helping to mentor and shape the next generation of nurse leaders.
