Spring 2027 School of Nursing Scholarship Applications Are Open!
We are now accepting scholarship applications for the Spring 2027 semester! One application is all you need to be considered for most UAB School of Nursing scholarships, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity.
Spring 2027 Application Deadline: Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
How to Apply
Go to uab.edu/BSMART and:
- Click “Access BSMART”
- Select “Students”
- Filter by “School of Nursing”
- Click the “Apply Now” button on the right
Already submitted an application?
If you have already submitted a School of Nursing scholarship application for the 2026–2027 academic year, you do not need to submit another application for Spring 2027. Your existing application will be considered.
A Quick Note About the Deadline
The School of Nursing scholarship application is open for the entire 2026–2027 academic year, so BSMART will display a system-generated deadline of March 15, 2027. However, this is NOT the deadline for Spring 2027 School of Nursing scholarships.
To be considered for Spring 2027 scholarships, your application must be submitted by Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Don’t wait until the last minute! We encourage you to complete your application early and make sure everything is submitted before the deadline.
