Women form a large majority of UAB’s employee and student population — to the tune of 67% of employees and 63% of students. The Commission on the Status of Women, headed by incoming chair Donna Williamson, works to promote gender inclusion and equity by supporting and improving options and opportunities for women at UAB through advocacy, education and programming.
