A clinical research study is now enrolling eligible adults. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness, safety, and tolerability of an investigational medication when it is used alone in people with TRD. You may be eligible to participate if you: • Are 18 years of age or older • Have been diagnosed with TRD • Have not adequately responded to at least 2 different antidepressant treatments If you are interested, additional eligibility criteria will be assessed by the study doctor or staff. The commitment for the study is about 24 weeks. Qualified patients may receive investigational study medication and some study-required medical care at no cost. A clinical research study is now enrolling eligible adults between the ages of 18-74 years of age. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medicine in people who have depression with sleep problems. Must have been diagnosed with depression, Have taken antidepressants in the past that did not work well for you and currently taking an antidepressant medication but still having symptoms of depression. Having difficulty falling asleep, or or do not feel rested the next day. If you are interested additional eligibility criterial will be assessed by the study doctor or staff. Qualified patients may receive study-related medical care and investigational study medication at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related travel may be provided. The RECOVER study will investigate the use of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy in up to 1,000 people across the United States. To join the RECOVER study you must be 18 years or older and: currently depressed, have depression (or bipolar depression) that has lasted for at least two years or recurred several times, and have tried at least four types of antidepressant treatments and not found them helpful.
