Why did you choose UAB?

One of the reasons why I chose UAB is because of how diverse the campus is! I love meeting new people and expanding my network with individuals who may have a different background than I do. I also chose UAB because of how great their healthcare programs are!

Why did you choose your major?

I chose my major, kinesiology, because it aligns with my interests! I aspire to attend Physical Therapy school in the future, and kinesiology is a great major for that. I am also minoring in Business Administration to widen my knowledge, and I believe it will help me in my future as well.

What is your favorite thing about the UAB School of Education and Human Sciences?

What class have you enjoyed the most so far at UAB?

The class that I have enjoyed the most so far at UAB is my anatomy class! Although the class was extremely challenging, I enjoyed the information I learned, and I love how hands-on the anatomy lab is at UAB.

What piece of advice would you give a prospective SOEHS student?

A piece of advice that I would give a prospective UAB School of Education and Human Sciences student is to not be afraid to ask questions. No matter how small or big your question may be, someone will have an answer for you! I try to go by the saying, “you don’t know unless you ask.”

What are your plans after you graduate from UAB?

After I graduate, I plan to attend Physical Therapy school! I have a passion for becoming a Physical Therapist, and that is what I hope to be in the future.
