Thank you for registering for a faculty/staff event at the UAB Center for Teaching and Learning!

Please note: The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning presents workshops for UAB faculty (including adjuncts), pre-approved graduate students who are under contract to teach academic courses at UAB, and teaching staff only. These workshops are not intended for non-teaching UAB postdocs or students. If you are a postdoc or a student who has mistakenly registered for a faculty event, let us know so that we can cancel your registration. We welcome you to attend CTL events once you are an instructor of record for an academic UAB course.

*If you have registered for an event where food will be served and you have any special dietary needs, please contact uabctl@uab.edu. Special dietary requests can only be addressed if you contact the CTL at least 3 business days before the event. Be sure to include the workshop title that you will be attending.

You will receive a confirmation email with event titles, dates, and times as well as all information on this page. Confirmation emails will come from the Qualtrics survey tool (noreply@qemailserver.com) so please check your spam/quarantine folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

While some workshop series may send individual reminders, you may not receive additional email notifications for CTL-hosted events. Please visit event listings on the CTL's Calendar to add events to your personal calendar (Outlook, Google, iCal, etc), or click "I'm Interested" on an event page to receive reminders via email as events approach. Information About Zoom Streams:

Most CTL events are in-person events only, but some special events may also have a Zoom link for viewing a live stream. CTL points are not awarded for Zoom participation unless there is not an in-person option available. If Zoom streaming is available for an in-person event, you will find a "Stream This Event Now" link within the workshop description for the event calendar listing. Event registration is for in-person attendance only. When watching a workshop via Zoom, participants will not be able to interact with the presenters. Participants' mic, camera, and chat will be disabled.
