SNAP (Food Assistance)

Alabama’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program provides monthly benefits on an EBT card for eligible low-income households.

  • Apply online through MyDHR
  • Call 1-833-822-2202 to find your county Food Assistance office
  • After you apply, you will be scheduled for a phone or in-person interview

Community Food Bank of Central Alabama

Supplies 300+ partner pantries, kitchens, and shelters and runs public Mobile Pantry distributions. It does not hand out food from its warehouse to walk-ins.
