Benefits
Resident benefit packages are handled by the Graduate Medical Education office. UAB offers health, dental, vision and various other benefits to residents.
Additional benefits provided by the UAB Health Center Montgomery for our Internal Medicine residents are:
- $1,300 annual food allowance
- Clerical staff support
- At least 4 days off per month while on inpatient service
- Two lab coats furnished per year
- Free parking
- ACLS certification provided during residency
