The Research of Eating and Activity for Child Health (REACH) Lab is looking for children between the ages of 8-12 and one parent/caregiver to participate in a study. Your participation will help us understand the differences between children with and without overweight/obesity and help to improve future treatment of pediatric overweight/obesity. Children and parents who are eligible to participate will be scheduled for a one-time, three-hour appointment at Children’s of Alabama, where they will complete computer activities, body measurements, paper surveys, and blood labs. You will be paid $60 for your participation and any on-site parking fees will be waived. For more information or to see if you are eligible contact the REACH Lab at 205-209-0729 or reachlab@peds.uab.edu.
