Winners are nominated by peers and then chosen by the previous year’s Top 25. Young currently serves as president and CEO of HCA Continental Division and HCA-HealthONE.

Brian Condit MDBrian Condit, M.D.Brian E. Condit, MD, FAAPMR, graduate of the UAB Master of Science in Health Administration, has been named Vice President / Chief Medical Officer for the Northeast Market of Mountain States Health Alliance. Mountain States has 14 hospitals and serves 29 counties in Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky and North Carolina. It is that region’s largest healthcare system.

The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) honored two University of Alabama at Birmingham alumnae at its annual AHIMA Triumph Awards ceremony. Donna J. Slovensky, Ph.D., RHIA, FAHIMA, received the Literacy Legacy Award and Joan C. Hicks, MSHI, RHIA, received the Innovation Award.
