At the UAB Heersink School of Medicine, we are dedicated to excellence in training physicians and scientists in all of the disciplines of medicine and biomedical investigation for careers in practice, teaching, and research. We train future physicians at all levels—from our partnerships with UAB for innovative undergraduate programs, our MD and dual degree programs offering world class medical education, and our 106 residency and fellowship training programs developing new doctors across Alabama, to our continuing medical education program providing relevant, lifelong learning in healthcare.
