This is a distance-accessible, semester-long program which includes enrollment in a selected PhD level course and mentoring from two UAB faculty.

Cost/Other Requirements
- $9,000 USD which includes tuition for a 3-credit hour non-degree-seeking PhD level course and mentoring from 2 UAB faculty
- There is no visa required, no travel and no cost-of-living expenses
Selection Criteria
- Eligible candidates should be outside the United States and have specific objectives and deliverables as part of their application
- Alignment of focus area with UAB’s School of Nursing strategic priorities.
- Availability of a faculty mentor
- Education requirements (minimum master’s level, and/or enrollment in doctorate nursing program)
- English Proficiency: TOEFL or IELTS or Duolingo scores, or Certificate of English from an accredited course
A detailed work plan will be developed, in conjunction with a mentor and other resource faculty, following acceptance into the program.
