Certain employees required to file annual ethics report by May 1

Written by

ethics graphicThe state of Alabama Ethics Commission requires that UAB employees who are supervisors, whose job includes management of state funds in certain capacities or who meet a salary threshold of $75,000 are required to complete an annual Statement of Economic Interests form. Employees must complete the form by the state-mandated deadline May 1, 2017.

The form and instructions on how to complete are available at ethics.alabama.gov. Once completed, employees will receive an email from the Ethics Commission with a code confirming the form has been filed; employees should keep the codes for their records. Employees may also print and mail the form; it must be postmarked by May 1, 2017.
