UAB has been sending teams to compete at the Emory Morningside Global Health Case Competition (formerly the International Emory Global Health Case Competition) since the very beginning. Student teams travel from across the US as well as other countries to present their best response to each year's new and challenging case.

Students are selected from the winning teams of the UAB Global Health Case Competition to make up the team that moves on to Emory. Just like at the UAB level, the team must represent at least 3 schools from across UAB. Previous student teams include:
