The role of the External Advisory Committe (EAC) is to help develop the Sparkman Center for Global Health's strategic vision and to provide counsel and support on both conceptual and programmatic levels. The membership for this Committee is made up of persons who have been involved in health activities in international settings. They lend advice and also provide linkages to national and international institutions and agencies who could work with the Sparkman Center. Each member brings unique experience, wisdom, and expertise to the Sparkman Center and to the University of Alabama at Birmingham community. Members are:
