Doctors without Borders at UAB
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), also known as Doctors Without Borders, believes in “the right of victims to receive assistance, as well as the right of humanitarian organizations to provide assistance.” The MSF student chapter will host fundraising and awareness events for MSF to encourage students to consider medical careers abroad and become more involved with Doctors Without Borders.

The mission of SIPS is to promote academic growth, professional development, and social responsibility among graduate students at UAB with an interest in behavioral sciences in a global context. Members shall plan and host events and activities that promote the practice international psychology outside of the US and among refugees and immigrants within the US.
