      This class takes your favorite parts of Fit Barre to create a core shredding workout!

      Barre Less

      Ready to get off the barre? This ballet-based workout will challenge your whole body; focusing on alignment, lengthening, balance, functional movement, and core strength.

      Barre Intensity

      Barre Intensity fuses traditional Barre class with strength movements at a HIIT pace creating an explosive cardio workout.

      This class will combine high intensity intervals with music for a fun and motivating workout! Syncing your workout with music will help you push beyond where you thought that you could ever go!

      Country Heat

      Country dance inspired workout using simple dance moves and uncomplicated choreography to country inspired jams. This is a non-stop cardio workout that is so fun you will forget you are working out!

      Cardio Kickboxing

      Looking to combine a strength and cardio workout in one? This morning interval class utilizes cardio and kickboxing segments to provide an action packed total body workout!

      Step, Jump & Pump

      This tried and true fitness staple uses basic to advanced step moves to challenge all fitness levels. Incorporating strength and sports-conditioning this fun twist on an old staple is sure to provide you with the advanced and dynamic workout you’ve been looking for.

      TRX Strength and Core

      Learn the basics of this rapidly growing fitness trend, TRX! Along with great TRX instruction, the class will include training that involves full body movements and learn to stabilize the body and use your core in every exercise.

      Insanity

      Intense interval training to improve strength, endurance, agility, and coordination all using just your body weight for a great and fun workout! This can be modified for any fitness level!

      CUT

      This class will focus strictly on working your core leaving your abs cut up.

      Chaireobics

      Get a satisfying strength workout while stepping outside the box of the normal class! This unique structure is based upon fitness and dance theories including ballet barre, Pilates, and yoga. You will dance, you will have fun, and you will sweat!

      Step Jam

      Come see why step has been around for more than 25 years! This cardio workout builds a base choreography pattern using the step and gives you options to ‘jam’ by adding challenges with power, directional, and rhythmic changes; ending with a brief core segment and relaxing floor stretch.

      Kettlebell Strength

      This high intensity class consists of whole-body movement exercises. Kettlebells come in a range of off-centered weights and a workout includes different movements such as the deadlift, swing, clean & press, and snatch.

      PiYo

      This is a high intensity, fast paced, low impact workout that is a fusion or yoga and Pilates. You will sweat during this great workout!

      Core De Force

      An MMA style workout tracking moves and inspiration from boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai that uses HIIT. This is body weight training that is not a self-defense class and non-contact.

      Kickbox Bootcamp

      This cardio/strength workout alternates intervals of cardio kickboxing ‘rounds’ with total body strength training, ending with a core segment and relaxing floor stretch.

    • Aqua classes are suitable for all fitness levels and swimming abilities.

      Aqua Fit

      A great ‘wave’ to get a great low impact cardio workout in! This easy-to-follow class will give you a fun, exciting, and new workout!

      Aqua Zumba

      This class combines Zumba with the resistance of the water for a fun pool party workout!

      *These 45 minute classes are suitable for all fitness levels and swimming abilities.

  • What is Commit to UFit?

    Commit to UFit is an Incentive Program to keep you moving throughout the Fall Semester and to help you stay accountable to yourself!


    How do I participate?

    Receive a Punch Card by attending a UFit class of your choice! Ask the instructor for your card and their signature at the end of class. Bring your card to each class you attend, and ask the instructor to sign off on the next open space. At the end of the semester, you will turn your card in the designated locations in the studios and can receive a prize at 30 and 50 signatures!


    When do I have to turn in my punch card by?

    December 6th


    How do I receive my prize?

    All the cards will be collected on the 8th and you will be emailed a time/location to pick up your prize for participating based on whether you achieved 30 or 50 signatures.
