Are you looking for an awesome way for your little Blazers to get active this Summer? URec Summer Camps are perfect for you!
This is a great opportunity for children to explore adventure sports, exciting crafts, aquatic activities, and everything Campus Recreation has to offer under one roof.
The Summer Camp schedule is from 9:00am - 4:00pm and the age range for Summer Camps is 5-12 years of age. Campers will need to provide their own lunch.

In this section, you can find Online Fillable and Printable PDFs of the 2024 Summer Camp Enrollment Forms (one per family). This document must be fully completed and signed in order to register and make the deposit. Once completed, you can email them to us at

Enrollment Forms and full payment are due the Monday one week prior to camp. If enrollment forms and/or payment are not recieved by the Monday prior, your child will not be enrolled. Please remember, there is a 25% deposit per child that is needed to reserve your spot in camps. Spot is not reserved until the deposit is collected. The remaining balance is required to be paid the one week prior to camp starting. Rates for Summer Camp UAB Affiliate $175 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $195 per child/ per week
Pricing for Week 1 & 4 UAB Affiliate $140 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $160 per child/ per week
Pricing for Week 6 UAB Affiliate $105 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $125 per child/ per week
*25% deposit is needed to hold your spot in camps. This deposit in non-refundable and non-transferable.
*** Before and After Care options are available at $5 each per day -
Refund and Request Form
- Youth camp deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No cash refunds.
- All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the Refund Request Form and received by University Recreation Staff.
- Refund requests received 7 or more days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a full refund minus the 25% deposit.
- **If camp fees are paid in full, a 25% deposit (per child) is considered a deposit
- ** Single Day Camps are eligible for 50% refund
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid
- Not applicable to Single Day Camps
- Refund requests received fewer than 24 hours prior to the start of camp will not be offered a refund unless the two circumstances below pertain to you.
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the start of camp may be offered a full refund for the following situations only:
- Medical Withdrawal (doctor’s note required)
- Military Relocation (documentation required)
- Transfers can be made up to 7 days prior to the first day of camp (deposits are non-transferrable, additional deposit is required)
