Are you looking for an awesome way for you little Blazers to get active this Summer? URec Summer Camps are perfect for you! This is a great opportunity for children to explore adventure sports, exciting crafts, aquatic activities, and everything University Recreation has to offer under one roof. The Summer Camp schedule is from 9:00am - 4:00pm and the age range for Summer Camps is 5-12 years of age. Campers will need to provide their own lunch.

Our camp at UAB URec is built where campers will be able to take place in a variety of games, crafts, and activities each day. Each week will have a different theme and activities that relate to the weekly theme.

Pricing for Full Week UAB Affiliate $175 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $195 per child/ per week
Pricing for Prorated Week UAB Affiliate $160 per child/ per week Non-Affiliates $180 per child/ per week
*25% deposit is needed to hold your spot in camps
*** Before and After Care options are available at $5 each per day- Refund and Request Form
- Youth camp deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No cash refunds.
- All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via the Refund Request Form and received by University Recreation Staff.
- Refund requests received 7 or more days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a full refund minus the 25% deposit.
- **If camp fees are paid in full, a 25% deposit (per child) is considered a deposit
- ** Single Day Camps are eligible for 50% refund
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the first day of camp are eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid
- Not applicable to Single Day Camps
- Refund requests received fewer than 24 hours prior to the start of camp will not be offered a refund unless the two circumstances below pertain to you.
- Refund requests received fewer than 7 days prior to the start of camp may be offered a full refund for the following situations only:
- Medical Withdrawal (doctor’s note required)
- Military Relocation (documentation required)
- Transfers can be made up to 7 days prior to the first day of camp (deposits are non-transferrable, additional deposit is required)
