Blazer Boost is a one-semester academic support program designed to help first-year students successfully transition to college life. Through campus resources and personalized coaching, our goal is for students to build valuable academic skills, establish a support network, and thrive throughout their time as a UAB Blazer.
Eligible students are first-time freshmen who graduated high school the same year as, or the year prior to, their first fall semester at UAB, and were not admitted to the Blazing Start program.
