Transfer Presidential Scholarship
Students currently enrolled in community colleges within the state of Alabama are eligible for UAB’s Transfer Presidential Scholarship. Consideration for this award is based on nominations provided to UAB directly from the community college. Once nominations are received, UAB will conduct an internal review process to make final selections. Please note, there may be up to two students awarded per community college. The Transfer Presidential Scholarship provides $6,000 per semester for 4 semesters ($12,000 annually; fall and spring semesters only).

ADDITIONAL UAB SCHOLARSHIPS
UAB offers departmental, performance, and more scholarship opportunities to admitted and current students. Students interested in these scholarships should complete the BSMART Scholarship Application in the Blazer Scholarship Management and Resource Tool (BSMART). Completing the application submits student information to multiple departments and units on campus for scholarship consideration. Scholarship opportunities in BSMART will be posted Sept. 1, but students can complete the BSMART Scholarship Application beginning Aug. 1.
