Join University Recreation for our first ever Build a Boat Competition! This competition is open to all students and is meant for you to work together to build a boat using non-conventional materials.
Date: November 29, 2023
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Rules and Regulations:
- Teams must consist of 3 to 4 people
- We have a maximum capacity of 12 Teams
- Teams will compete in 3 different heats, the overall winner is who will make it the furthest.
- Teams will have 1 hour to build their boat. No prior "building" is allowed and you will be asked the start from scratch.
- Boats will be built with only cardboard and tape
- Paddles for boat will be provided
