Know a staff member who represents UAB’s values so well, they should do so in an official capacity? Nominate them as a Staff Council representative for their organizational unit.
The UAB Staff Council will host our annual Spring Forum on Thursday, March 3 from 10am to 11am. The event will be held in the Hill Student Center Alumni Theatre. Main entry is on the 3rd floor.
Panelists will include:
- Janet May – Chief Human Resources Officer (UAB)
- Denton Lunceford/Greg Parsons – UAB Facilities
- Steve Murray – UAB participation in the World Games
- Theresa Shufflebarger – UAB Grand Challenge/Live HealthSmart Alabama
The July Staff Council Meeting will be open only to current Staff Council members and alternates. The August meeting with be open to all staff via Zoom.
The UAB Staff Council, in conjunction with UAB Organizational Learning and Development, is sponsoring a series of career development forums titled, “Taking Charge of Your Career.”
