OD/MBA student selected for Schweitzer Fellowship
OD/MBA student Demetric Jones will be spending the next 13 months in service to the Birmingham-area Hispanic community through a prestigious Albert Schweitzer Fellowship opens a new website. Jones is part of UAB’s unique OD/MBA dual degree program, in which he’ll earn both a master of business administration and a doctorate of optometry concurrently.
Hundreds graduate from UAB Collat School of Business at Spring Commencement
More than 400 students from the Collat School of Business graduated during two spring semester commencement ceremonies Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29 at Bartow Arena.
Graduating students and their friends and family were celebrated at pre-commencement receptions in the Collat School of Business both days.

U.S. News ranks UAB's management information systems program No. 4 in nation
The Collat School of Business’s online graduate Management Information Systems program opens a new website is ranked No. 4 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report. The program jumped five spots in the online programs rankings this year. The only schools to rank higher were Columbia University, Johns Hopkins University, and Virginia Tech.
